An investment industry professional based in the UK, I worked for a number of major financial institutions in various global locations. Pretty unusually for my field, where selfishness and feckless money worship appear to be the norm to outsiders, I would consider myself to be firmly to the left politically.

For the last 10 years I have been a sole trader, trying my hand at copywriting and a few other tangential roles.

Married with 1 teenage daughter, I spend my free time walking the dog, playing and watching a number of sports, and reading copious amounts from literature to current affairs to social forums.

The purpose of this blog is to provide commentaries and insight on topics that either interest me or where I have a professional view. It will be updated when I have downtime and something to add to current discussions.
